About Katie.
I’m a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Master of Social Work, specializing in clinical practice. Since 2015, I've worked across various settings, but my passion has always centered on lifelong, holistic family wellness. I believe meaningful therapeutic work begins in a space that is safe, compassionate, empowering, and authentic. I strive to create that space by showing up as my full, perfectly imperfect self, and I invite you to do the same. Together, we can build a collaborative partnership where your needs, values, and goals are always at the center.
In 2020, becoming a mother profoundly shaped both my personal and professional path. This experience deepened my commitment to offering care grounded in compassion, nervous system awareness, and honoring individual differences. I now focus my practice on supporting perinatal mental health, as well as children, teens, and adults who identify as neurodivergent or highly sensitive.
As someone who is part of the neurodivergent and highly sensitive communities myself, I bring not only professional knowledge but also lived experience to the work I do. I understand firsthand the importance of being seen, heard, and supported in ways that honour how your brain and body uniquely move through the world.
My work is grounded in deep respect for identity, lived experience, and the many ways people show up in the world. It’s my privilege to walk alongside individuals and families on their healing journeys—with presence, care, and an openness to all that you bring.

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, neurodiversity-affirming principles, and 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-oppressive practices. I believe that each person brings a unique story—shaped by identity, lived experience, relationships, culture, and the systems they’ve navigated. My role is to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported.
I meet you where you are, with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for your unique way of being in the world. Whether you're processing past trauma, exploring identity, working through relational dynamics, or navigating mental health challenges, our work together will be collaborative—guided by your voice, your pace, and your goals.
Through an attachment-based lens, we can gently explore how early experiences may be influencing your present. My trauma-informed practice centers emotional safety, choice, and empowerment. I also work from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective—honouring the many ways that brains and bodies experience and express life.
There is no single “right” way to be, and I’m here to support you in embracing yours.
